Our lodges are located in the heart of Newfoundland’s interior. They are quite comfortable and located in some of the best moose/caribou areas in Newfoundland. Each lodge is licensed and inspected by the government of Newfoundland annually. Island Pond is a fly in lodge which has four bedrooms and two bathrooms; it accommodates four to five hunters each week. The cookhouse and guides quarters are separate from the hunter’s quarters. All guiding at this lodge is one on one.
The lodge at Bear Pond is also a fly in lodge which accommodates up to three hunters each week. The hunter’s quarters is separate from the cook house and guides quarter. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom and the guiding is also one on one.
The hunting lodge at Chuck’s Pond can accommodate between three to four hunters each week. It has two bedrooms with two beds per room and one bathroom. The cookhouse and guides quarters are separate from the hunter’s quarters. This lodge is accessible by using ATV’s to the lake and then its a short boat ride. Hunters can hunt in this area by accessing remote areas around the lake as well as using ATV’s on logging roads. The guiding here is two on one.
All of my lodges have many modern conveniences of home such as hot and cold running water, showers, generator electricity and satellite telephone. Each of them are heated by wood stoves which make the task of drying clothing and boots much easier.
