Have you always dreamt about going on a big game hunt? Now is the time to start making arrangements and there is no better place to start than right here. Moose Valley is a family owned and operated outfitting business. We operate three lodges known as: Island Pond, Bear Pond, and Chuck’s Pond. Both Island Pond and Bear Pond are fly-in lodges while Chucks Pond is accessible by ATV’s . All three lodges have excellent hunting opportunities for moose and caribou. The area that you will be hunting is located inside of Newfoundland’s most recent Ecological Reserve (Little Grand Lake Ecological Reserve). This reserve was put in place to protect the Newfoundland pine marten. The reserve is also protected from logging, agriculture, mining, prospecting and the construction of new structures and roads.

One of our lodges was first opened in 1964; hunters today are still hunting and walking on the same trails as those nearly fifty years ago. Our style of hunting at the fly in lodges remains the same today as it was back in the early sixties: spot, stalk and calling.
